Stepping Stone’s corporate partnership program fosters mutually beneficial, collaborative relationships with organisations committed to creating opportunities for people with mental ill-health. We work closely with our Partners to ensure shared value is delivered, with impact aligned to your Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

Our corporate partnerships are tailored to the individual Partner, to ensure alignment with your strategic vision, meet your social responsibility objectives, and work together towards a common cause.

Let's join forces to make a meaningful impact!

Why choose us?

  • Stepping Stone works hard to understand your business in order to design an individual program that meets your organisational needs, matches your values and produces the outcomes you want.

  • Stepping Stone is a respected community organisation. We opened our doors in 1994 and have grown to provide supports and services to over 3000 people in the Greater Brisbane Region since that time.  We are a leading mental health service agency in Brisbane, with a unique evidence-based Work-Ordered Day program, that ensures our members have decreased hospitalisations due to mental illness, increased social connections and improved quality of life!

  • Our fun and engaging leaders work closely with Partners to develop, manage and grow the partnership.

  • Not only are you helping people with a mental illness to work towards their individual recovery goals, but you can benefit from enhanced brand image and increased staff loyalty, motivation and retention.

What can you do?

Corporate organisations can support Stepping Stone via financial assistance, in-kind product support, sponsorships, co-designed programs, grants and by engaging your employees. Some ways we can partners, include:

Philanthropic Gifts

Philanthropic organisations achieve results that create real social change. Organisations that want to make their mark in the community can do so by making a generous gift or pledging support over a period of time.

Workplace Giving and Employee Engagement

Regular small donations make a huge difference and achieve amazing impact for our members.  Workplace Giving is set up through your organisation’s payroll as a pre-tax deduction for a set amount each pay period. For more information please contact sarah.counsell@steppingstoneclubhouse.org.au.

Corporate Fundraising

Organisation fundraising activities are an easy and fun way to provide financial support and engage your staff and clients. Activities such as raffles, casual dress days, bake offs and morning teas are examples of simple and successful corporate fundraising activities. We’d love to hear what activity you’re planning and provide support along the way!

Gifts in Kind

Donating goods and services is a wonderful way to support Stepping Stone and make a tangible impact. Whether it's providing office supplies, furniture, technology, or professional services, your contributions help us operate more efficiently and enhance our programs. We welcome all kinds of in-kind donations and are happy to discuss how your gifts can best support our mission. Let us know what you have in mind, and we'll work together to make the most of your generous support! 😊

Become an Employment Partner

Our Corporate Partnerships are about more than just donations.

Work gives us purpose and connects us to those around us. It builds community and gives meaning to our lives. But for people with mental illness, it’s difficult to find and keep a good job. Self-doubt and low self-esteem can be compounded by the terrible feelings that come with unemployment. Because of this, employment is one of the fundamental building blocks of the Clubhouse. Stepping Stone strives to give every person who wants it a chance to work at a real job.  You can help us achieve this goal by becoming an Employment Partner and providing new opportunities to place our members in Transitional, Independent and Supported Employment. Please note our Transitional Employment Program includes a guarantee that our staff will fill in if the member can’t make it to work, always ensuring the employer is never without an employee. Who Are Cisco?

Cisco Systems, a global technology leader, specialises in networking, security, and collaboration solutions. Their innovative products and services empower businesses worldwide. And we’re lucky enough to have them as a Corporate Partner, supporting our impactful work for people with mental illness.

How Cisco Got Involved

Through their “Day to Give” initiative, Cisco volunteered in our Work-Ordered Day and were inspired by the work we were doing at the Stepping Stone Clubhouse. This led to the start of a great partnership, with the team at CISCO delivering a brilliant event in the Stepping Stone name and generating more than $40,000 to help drive our impact even further! Thans you Cisco!

“Spending a day at Stepping Stone was not exactly the experience I thought it would be. It was supposed to be a group of us CISCO people dropping in for a few hours doing a few odd jobs to help out. It was supposed to be ‘us’ helping ‘them’. Within the first 20 minutes of arriving, the ‘us’ and ‘them’ disappeared and it was done in a way that was inclusive and powerful. One of the members volunteered to manage the allocation of people against the day’s tasks. It completely relied on people putting their hand up to accept responsibility for each task. This ‘management’ style created a feeling of individual freedom while also creating a certain momentum of effort. I came away seeing a new way of doing things and a wonderful way of creating a team.” - Rob

The impact of our CISCO relationship has been huge! They have helped set up our brand-new Northside Clubhouse, contributing their time at working bees and through supporting the development of our online presence. CISCO have also linked us in with a number of their wonderful clients - helping drive the impact even further!
