My name is Lindy and I would like to share my story with you.

Hi. My name is Lindy. I have been coming to Steps for about ten years. A former Steps President Brad ***** was at the complex where I lived supporting another Steps member and he told me about it. So I started to come along. 

My journey has had its ups and downs but it has been a blessing and I have seen many prayers answered, made good friends, learned new skills and enjoyed the feeling of belonging to a community. I have enjoyed the camps that Steps organize (and I can’t wait for the next one). I also enjoy encouraging other members when they are struggling.  

My most precious moment here was when I received a TE. Even though it did not work out due to the company involved, it gave me the opportunity to embrace the wisdom and strength and hope for future work. 

Overall the staff (who are amazing) and members have been the “stepping stones” in my healing and hope for a future.
